For many businesses it is critical to ensure that product data is captured as products are received into the warehouse. SPHERE’s receiving systems can automate this process eliminating the labour intensive process of manually entering data as well as eliminating human error from the collated data. As products are received into the warehouse they are inducted into the SPHERE system where the product barcode/shipping label is scanned. This recorded information is sent directly to the customer’s WMS to update their database with received products.
Through use of SPHERE’s inline checkweigh-cubers, product dimensions and weights can also be recorded and customer database updated. SPHERE conveyors and sortation products can then be utilised to complete further tasks such as diverting products to designated areas of warehouse or sorting incoming products by weight/size category.
